This question is far too open ended.

If said deity were to make himself known, I'd have to inquire as to the rather ridiculous rituals which he supposedly requires, i.e. abstaining from pork and alcohol, prayer five times a day, and ritual fasting among others.

If said deity were able to provide reasonable answers to these questions and I was convinced siad deity was acting in the best interests of humanity then I would try to follow him, though I honestly don't see myself ever worshipping anything-- diety, person, concept, etc-- nor can I even imagine a truly omnipotent deity being so shallow and vain as to want to be worshipped.

Because there's no justification for it. There's nothing wrong with eating pork except that Allah thinks it's wrong. Same thing with Yahweh and shellfish.

Actually there is justification for it...

Swine is very similar to hu-man meat. After, the primates, pigs are the most similar to humans in terms overall body physiology and biochemistry. For example , in biology labs pigs are the candidate of choice for performing Anatomy analysis. This is because the blood-fat ratio on a pig and human are identical. The lateral number of degrees between the eyes of a pig and the facial symmetry of a human are analogous. The organ symmetry of a pig and human are very close, right down to the number of valves in the heart.....and their insulin is often used in humans

eating pig is akin to cannibalism.

So Allah cares about pigs but doesn't care about all of the innocent people killed during the jihads?

Yeah, whatever. That's the most tortured description of cannibalism ever. Of course, being an Islam apologist, you'd say anything to cover up for the fact that there's nothing wrong with eating pork except Allah says not to.

Cannibalism is the eating of HUMANS by HUMANS. It is not the eating of other species which share biological characteristics with humans.

The only possible reason not to eat pork is because of trichinosis. Trichinosis is easily avoided by either freezing pork or cooking it completely through. It has nothing to do with the meat itself. So if Allah were really that concerned about humans contracting trichinosis he would have instructed humans to cook their pork thoroughly.

He does exist, but fortunately he has almost no power in the Western world. I am very glad of this. Yahweh and the god of Descarte's philosophy hold sway over the Western world, and with all their faults, they are vastly preferable to Allah--as much, in fact, as the Roman gods are preferable to them.

If Allah did conquer the part of the world where I live, I would probably worship him, but do what I could to end his dominion. I definitely don't like Allah, and I'm glad I don't have to deal with him.
