Entangled particles
Greetings,
Can anyone give me a good resource on entangled particles? What I am looking for is how the particles are entangled, how long they remain that way and how are they manipulated and observed? I also read somewhere recently(and I can't remember the source, sorry) that molecules have been successfully entangled. Since they exhibit the same properties that entangled particles exhibit I was wondering what happens when you break one of the entangled molecules up. I suspect nothing really happens except the molecule is broken up and the entanglement is stopped or broken. Thanks. [ January 05, 2002: Message edited by: Ipecac ]
|

The physics whizbang that seems to be the answerman for this sort of stuff is Tim Thompson, and, IIRC, he's out of pocket for another week or so.
I could say, "You make me puke!" but it wouldn't reflect how much I envy your screenname. |

I really have no idea, but if you can't find what you are looking for here, another forum you could check out with a lot of science-minded people is www.sciforums.com .
