Prebiblical history of the Ancient Hebrews.
Does anyone know of a good resource for the prebiblical history of the ancient Hebrews? I know of a number of resources for the history of the Canaanites, Hittites, Babylonians and Sumerians, but I can't find anything on the ancient Hebrews. I check the EAWC site at evansville, but they don't seem to have any kind of compact chronology.

Just wanted to add that, as 'bookends' for the books mentioned above, (a) both the Dever and Finkelstein/Silberman books are interesting, and (b) "The Peoples of the Earth - An Introduction To World History" by Brian Fagan is good for general context.

Look up the thread "zoroastrian influnce on Judaism etc. " on this page. Great links from Ryan2. Saw it only a few minutes ago. Haven't read them.
