I guess it's hard to see tongue-in-cheek on a message board. I've just never gotten into the habit of using smilies.

As has been mentioned, it is most unlikely that the paintings at Lascaux were done by Neandertals. I got my date information from The Cave of Lascaux. Even if older, they were done by paleolithic humans, not Neandertals. I'm more familiar with Altamira, another Magdalenian Culture cave art site - 15,500 or so years ago.

I don't see what the problem is. Everything they say in the poster is spot-on! I mean, as an educational tool, they couldn't possibly lie in an effort to bulwark their crumbling edifice of belief, could they?
Lying is wrong! That's what the bible tells us. Therefore, everything a theist says must then be true, because if they lie, they will go to hell. The last thing a theist wants is to hang out in Saskatoon in December with a group of atheists, so they won't lie.

BBC website in the last 2 months, I'm afraid. Canals, channels and gullies are all the same to some people.

They did change it when I pointed out the anachronism, but took the view that few people were likely to be confused.
