American Christian extremism (need help with essay)
I am trying to write a letter to editor for New Straits Times, a Malaysian English daily and highlighting Christianity in America trying to repress religious freedom in schools and public institutions by prayers, Bible studies, ten commandments and even barring "satanic items" like Wicca pendants to school. I need some references of Secularism and seperation of church and government policies in Constitution and maybe some little recent news of church-state issues. Of course if you find it a burden, just leave this topic. I will start writing after maybe...some few posts.
Since my country is a bit pro-theistic I wouldn't be too pro-secular in my essay. Thanks a bunch. |

Why not comment closer to home....
Why not write about the sorry state of affairs in PAS run states of malaysia ? As much as I dislike UMNO, those PAS cats want to turn malaysia into a mini Saudi Arabia....
