I flip him on every once in a while just so I can flip him off. The only thing more amazing than his blatant charlatanism (and you're right, I've seen better cold readers) is the gullibility of his audience. They sit there gazing like deer in headlights, soaking up and believing everything he says.

Watching a show like that makes me fear that it's going to be a long time before skepticism and rational thinking makes a serious dent in superstition and ignorance.

methinks i should become a medium. or perhaps a televangalist.anyone stupic enough to give money to these people deserves to get ripped off. although i'm not sure i could keep from cracking up long enough to do it.

If it's Paul Kurtz, he is a secular humanist and is - was?- the editor of Free Inquiry magazine, if memory serves.
