Funny thing...
When Mary was... impregnated... with Jesus, she wasn't married. Not to Joseph, and not to God (she wasn't a nun, after all). That makes Jesus a bastard, in every possible sense of the word.
BUT... Deut 23:2 - "A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD." That confuses the heck out of me, really. |

It is just common knowledge, so it is added to the list of delusions and promptly forgotten.

"but jesus came to make a new covenant, that all can be accepted in the new testament"
yeah. sure. Amazing, simply amazing what christians do to justify their beliefs From outlandish ideas on the flood and outlandish reasons why there is a young earth, to outlandish justifications of the bible's contradictions, christians have to try so hard to justify their beliefs. We simply use science, while they throw out crazy excuses for everything. You would think that just seeing how far they have to stretch to explain so many things would be enough to make anyone see how ridiculous their faith can be. |
