are you just copy pasting stuff? it sure as hell looks like it.
some of it is so much like sermons i've heard i swear you got issued it. did your god forget to invent paragraphs? no one likes to read huge blocks of copied text. we do like to here specific responses to specfic questions. If i ask you "Why isn't Allah real?" you can't get out of it by going "God blah blah is love blah blah, surpreme, blah blah." so what? what about Allah. Psst. You're not on a street corner anymore. try discussing things or everyone will lose interest. |

Re: Evidence (D)
*yawn*
I believe in God, but I don't use inane arguments to prove His existence! Quote:
You haven't heard of symbiosis arising in the animal kingdom? You haven't read about the excellent evolutionary explanations for love and mutual help? You're just talking out of your ignorance. Oh well, what did I expect from a young-earth creationist (if your profile is anything to go by)? Quote:

All these evidences: The Evidence of Cause & Effect, The Evidence of Design, The Evidence of Conception, and The Evidence of LOVE (these are just some, there are more): point to the existence of a Creator/God and if God did not exist then there would be no trace of His existence at all. Just, as some one leaves a trace of their existence behind (via. finger/foot prints, pottery, architecture, writing, etc.) so it is with the Creator, who has left His fingerprints on His creation. Hence, the mere existence of these evidence means that God must exist. But, why would people want deny God’s existence in light of these evidences? The reasons are various, but I would say that most, is because of the conclutionary logic that follows the idea of an existing God. You see, if God exists, then we by shear nature of our existence, are indebted to Him as His creation to answer to Him as to how we should live our lives. Because, people rather do their own thing without answering to anybody, they choose to disbelieve in the existence of a Creator. Or, even worse, set up in their mind who they think the Creator is and thus, producing a puppet of a God that answers to them instead of them answering to God. Man tends to be the master of his own destiny. However, the problem in this type of thinking is this: If man has total control of his destiny then he could keep himself from dying. But the cloudless crystal-clear fact of reality is; that we will all die one day. The Bible even talks about this. “What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? Shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave?” (Psalm 89:48). It would seem proper to mention that if we really have that much control over our selves then explain involuntary actions. For example: Yawning, sneezing, breathing, sleeping, salivating, dreaming, etc. And don’t forget all your organs such as the heart, lungs, liver, intestines, kidneys, bladder, etc. All of these work independent of your will. Think about this (please don’t try this at home), if you hold you breath you will eventually pass out and automatically begin breathing again. Man has control but it is limited. You may be thinking, “This make a whole lot of sense, but how can I know what to believe about God?” Think about it! I have only given evidence of God existence, but not really anything as to his personality and character. To learn about this we must go to the Bible, but I do not have the space or time here. |

First, my spelling is not on trial here!!! Many a great men had spelling problems.
Second, these arguments are very simple, even a child could understand some of them. If you cannnot answer a simple argument, then how pray-tell can you answer complex ones? Foe example: if you can not give the answer to "1+1" then how could you ever give the answer to E=MC2 ? The fact is, is that simplicity is a problem with those who are closed minded to basic thinking. |

wave function does deserve a response, because...you seem to be making the case that god has always existed, and the logical christian argument would be that before god created the universe there was no time. wavefunction deals with that, and deals with your first AND second arguemnt quite well (ie, coming into existance w/o a god). so its extremely relevant.
"Just a theory". Do you know what a theory is? A theory is an idea that is supported by evidence, generally tested hundreds of times, and that has yet to be proven wrong. Wave function is supported by evidence...so even though it is a theory, it is still relevant. |

drive-by.
I haven't yet tracked down where you're copying this stuff from, it must be from a book because of your horrible spelling. I notice your grammar goes from awful to complex and articulate back and forth. very very sad.. sad indeed. poor little christian. |

Toot, just how old are you?
If you are more than about 14, you should be ashamed of yourself. If you are less than that, then you should educate yourself. This is a good place for that; but read before you post. Then ask questions about the things you are unclear on. Otherwise, you risk sticking your feet so far in your mouth you wind up vanishing, and also making the faith you seem to hold look really, really dumb. Er... dumber. |
