prophecies
Sorry if this is the wrong forum ....but,
Does anyone have any good websites that have analysis of all these biblical prophecies? (such as the ones @ http://www.100prophecies.org )Some of them look convincing, yet, for the few that I have researched, there is always more than what is told to them. Also, from debating with a Christian friend, he has mentioned some part of Ezekiel (I think 53) in which he prophesizes (sp woops) that tyre will be flattened and the fisherman will lay out their fishnets on the flattened city. He says alexander the great flattened it, and the fisherman did lay out their nets on the city ... so, can someone confirm/deny this? Was the prophecy written after or before the event? Did the prophecy happen? And the person that I'm debating with also is using evidence from this book called "the fingerprint of god" .... any pages that analyze this book? Thanks for your help.... |

Dylan, of the cities that were great in the time of Ezekial, how many have *not* been sacked or otherwise ruined?
Did he give the date, time and name of the sacker? Nope. Just said it would happen. Well, it's happened to virtually every great city in the world since he wrote. I'm calling that a safe bet. |

Personally I find their 'There will be a war' prophecies much more convincing. I mean, how could they possibly know that would happen in the middle east? It makes you think. Boro Nut |

A great site for debunking the "messianic prophecies" is:
www.jewsforjudaism.org As you might expect, they maintain that the OT does contain true prophecies. But they do a good job of showing that none of the prophecies apply to Jesus. |
