It seems to me this thread is a very interesting one, since it primarily exists to be a sort of "Theistic Lifestyle & Support" subthread on IIDB, supporting Christians and other theists who aren't able to get the support they need on CF. I mean, think about it; how many of the Christians here would *DARE* post about a personal problem in the advice or prayer threads, knowing that people like LouisBooth and Gerry would be there within seconds, telling you it's God warning you to change your lifestyle, or announcing that he'll be praying for you to be saved? As long as the people who attack others the most are encouraged to stick around, and people like Tenek are getting warnings, we need someplace else to congregate.

Why would a moderator start a thread (a CF moderator on the CF board, I mean) that then is deleted?

Gunny's a bit weird, IMHO. He is one of the people who used to most consistently attack other posters, I have no idea at all why he was made a mod; I don't think he is anywhere near able to comprehend the existance of people whose disbelief isn't willful spite.
