Default The Christian Forums Outcast Thread

Hi,

I'm relatively new here... yet some of you do know me..
Those of you who don't.. don't be shy... I'm not...

In the brief time I've been here...I've noticed several
familiar peeps from that Christian Forums place.

As of today, I've retired from there...

why???

Most of them have no sense of humor and started complaining about me... lol...

IMAGINE THAT????

I'm interested in anyone else who have gripes. Let em fly...

(I'm happy to see that a lot of the responses I got to some of my polls my Winaces list)

I just started posting over there recently. I don't think anyone hates me yet.

hey smilin, nice to see you around these parts. Isnt it funny, on a board which revolves around a religion which teaches among other things that you shouldnt be judgemental, that you will find a lot less judgement among heathens? Youve got to love that kind of irony.

Hope you stick around, you'll find this place will cater far better to humour, no matter how twisted

I read Christian Forums, but I don't post.

I would probably be banned in 10 minutes. I find it very hard to be "nice" and "respectful" to the dimwit contingent over there.

The ignorance displayed there (by a sizable minority of zealots) is breathtaking.

I just can't stand boards on which the staff can't act professionally.

On ChristianForums, the mods and admins that I've interacted with can't seem to be bothered to admit error to someone they think is beneath them. (Translation: a non-believer and/or 'dirty liberal'.) It apparently hurts their pride to own up the mistakes they make while moding. I've seen mods lie, cheat, intimidate, and refuse to communicate to preserve the shine on their pedistal.

I'm at the point now where I just have no interest in participating on a board that is so poorly managed.

HEH. I don't really know why, but that's funny.

Now back to your regularly scheduled thread.

Could someone provide a link to this place? I never posted on a religion-themed board before finding this place (which actually happened quite recently) so I'm not very familiar with the various religious fora that are out there. I have followed a few links posted here to the Theology Web, but what I've seen has led me to believe that posting there would be far too frustrating. For example, I just cannot stand that Socrates guy. If I have to read much more from him I think I'll end up involuntarily destroying my monitor.

Edit: my masterful skills of deductive reasoning have led me to find this place: http://www.christianforums.com/
I know, I'm amazing, right? I assume this is what you guys are talking about?

Smilin you know you left there because my smilies were whopping up on your smilies!

But, seriously I didn't realize they were giving you a rough time about our smilies war.

I told them I hope a lack of a sense of humor isn't fatal, or I don't know if very many of them would survive. I haven't checked--it may have been deleted.

Lobstrosity--that's the one.
