ROFLMAO, poor Karol really has to do anything it takes to make her a saint considering the way he has behaved like a saint factory during his pontificate and here is someone that the world expects to be sainted.
The saint standard seems to be much lower these days than the amazing days of Genevieve when battling demons and flying around were pretty standard activities if you were saint material. Nowadays its enough for some credulous peasant to get cured of her ailment in the hospital, put a photo of Mother Theresa on your stomach, and proclaim to the world this wonderous healing miracle! Wow, the tumor is gone! Who wudda thunk it! [ October 07, 2002: Message edited by: Bible Humper ]</p> |

This, from the first reference, is the chilling effect of such claims ...

Given the unanswered questions about serious financial shenanigans on Mother Theresa's part, her courtship of dictators and defense of convicted white collar felons, poor sanitation, amateur and aly diagnoses of critical illnesses and refusal to administer pain medication in her clinics (despite Mother Theresa herself receiving the best of care in Geneva clinics), and other examples of hypocrisy at best, criminal venality at worst,
this latest miracle crap is hardly the worst of it. |
