Default Philosophy of mind/cog sci books

I'm looking for books discussing philosophy of mind or philosophy of language from a distinctly cognitive science perspective (I realise this is a very broad request).

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Start with anything written by Steven Pinker.

Thanks, Philosoft. I read How the Mind Works a couple years ago, and I enjoyed it. Interestingly, there was discussion yesterday on some other iidb thread about whether Pinker was worth reading. I suppose I'll read another book or two and judge for myself.

Pinker apparently has a reputation for being something of a pompous ass in academic circles. Whatever, the guy can flat-out write an entertaining book.

Daniel Dennett and John Searle are two Philosophers of mind worth reading. For more on the science side, there is Antonio Damasio and the Churchlands.

Thanks, Secular Pinoy. I've read some Searle. I'll check out those other authors.

Let me second the Dennett nomination. On the other hand, if you want a giggle, try some Descartes.

Try Cognitive Neuroscience by Gazzaniga. It's more of a radical viewpoint than the Churchlands, but it's informative.

Note: this is a graduate level text.
