need help finding contradictions asap!
Basicly, as soon as possible...I need to find contradictions in the bible...if there even are any. I could have sworn that there were, and I think I even remember reading some. But I've got about an hour, before I have to have them for a christian. It can be anything, that contradicts God's love, just anything in the bible that doesnt fit. Does that make sence??? Anything at all would be great! thanks so much!!

Please read through the archives for past threads with nearly identical opening post requests for a favorite discrepancy. This comes up at least every other week.

But what is more a problem is the image that you will obtain by using such simplistic methods against a person who believes in god. Now while I would certainly be open to using such verses in the bible that seem to contradict a loving god against a door to door christian or an e-creationist, such arguments should never be used against those that you respect. Just my worthless 2 cents. |

This may be too late, but you can always go to the Skeptics Annotated Bible. Click on Contraditions and check out the links there.

Also try to find an online version of "Is it God's word?" by Joseph Wheless. It's an old book(1926) but some of the points it brings up are still valid today.
Refutations to many of the contradictions are found on some Apologetic sites(Such as www.tektonics.org), but they fail to address them all. Some of the justifications are really stretching it in terms of explanations. |

I prefer Peter Kirby's Early Christian Writings and the Secular Web Library to the SAB.
