Once again, mockeries against those that don't have enough faith. Who are you to judge who is and who isn't a true believer? Doesn't the bible tell you not to judge? Or is that an 'optional' commandment? And how are people supposed to know what the answer is if there is no recognisable response?

How did I judge in that statement? I said or, as in proposing other options. Its not judging because we have gotten answers from God, so if someone here says they got nothing out of God, we conclude that they obviously weren't sincere or didn't listen. Of course the atheists conclude, Christians are delusional, and God doesn't exist, but its not like I haven't heard that a billion times on this board.

Question

Magus, can you talk with God like one man with another?

You seemed to limit the possible options to being insincere, or ignoring the response. Never is the blame attributed to your deity.

Do you know why people were told 'not to test god'? Because they were afraid that no response would occur. A simple test is to ask for a specific thing to occur that would validate that an answer was given. Surely, if god wanted that person to have faith, he would respond accordingly.

Don't you think that a more reasonable conclusion to draw from your experiences is that it is impossible to have a relationship with god while clothed in the material body because there is no god?

Jesus said "ask and you will receive." That was a lie, wasn't it Magus? I mean, he didn't say "ask me nicely and you will receive" did he? Or maybe it was made up by the human author of the book.

How can you ignore an answer when there isn't one there to ignore?

Yes, it's more reasonable, but I don't submit to reason with regard to such questions.

I see. Reason plays no part when it comes to religeous beliefs?

I use reason for most dealings of my life. The questions of God and the afterlife are two exceptions where I have made a conscious decision to eschew rational thinking and follow my heart instead.
