Thumbs up

Great post Sabine.

I am finding more and more Christians of your most sincere mindset every day...I suppose one must just make more of an effort to look in the right places.

Great post Sabine! Thanks for your input... you have already helped to undo much of the negativity we hear from fundamentalists here. You seem to be aware that atheists are certainly not fighting to take prayer away from the individual-- which seems to be a common battle cry among fundamentalists.

Wildy-- good effort!

Yep. The only context for "Aryan" that I know is currently used is white supremisist (or are they still trying to push white "separatists" as a more palitable name?). While I didn't see anything she posted as racist (I looked a little last week), I have not checked all the posts by any means.

Perhaps I am being too sensitive, but I have seen WAY too much of that kind of crap to say "it is just a name."

Just read the "GREAT news" thread at the Christian Forums. There sure are a lot of backflips, high-fives, and praise-Jesuses over a constitutional right that they've had all along. example:

Are folks really that uneducated about their freedoms?

Are folks really that uneducated about their freedoms?

That would certainly appear to be the case. Perhaps that accounts for why so many folks are remaining silent as those freedoms are being curtailed, one-by-one, under this current Government and High Court. It is difficult to know that you have lost something that you never knew you had. It is also rather difficult to find people willing to sacrifice their lives for something they don't understand, nor are they able to accurately appreciate its true value.

gravitybow:

No, they have no idea what their freedoms are--and, my, do they get pissy if you explain otherwise. You'd think they would be happy to know more about their rights, but they're more interested in triumphing over a phantom establishment. Woohoo! Is the average American Christian life that boring, that you must make up adversaries to conquer to have worth? Give me a break and a candy bar.
