What do you mean "reaction"? You do not find this story at all interesting? I posted this only because I thought people would find it interesting.

In my opinion, the man's punishment ought to have been a painful execution. You won't see me crying over the just punishment of any man who supports any kind of pornography.

However, it is worth noting that one can get far less for molesting a child. Why, one could probably get less for murdering several children.

I find it odd as well, given that the conviction was possession of child pornography. How can it be that illegal possession of photos of a terrible crime can bring a harsher sentence than commiting the crime itself? Pardon my brutal frankness, but that guy would have been much better off actually molesting a child. Lesson learned: if you're into kids and willing to risk punishment, don't buy illegal photos and fantasize, just go directly for the kid himself.

In my view, people are just as wrongly exploited in child pornography as in any other sort of illegal pornography. Age is irrelevant to me. People are people. People should not be exploited, in my opinion. Child pornography is as brutal as it is today because it is illegal, just like prostitution. Like prostitution, child pornography is not correctly regulated. Child pornography is so detestable not because it is "child" pornography but because it is illegal and therefore incorrectly regulated pornography. The only regulation with concerns to child pornography is that of brutal, exploitive, underground devils. If "normal" pornography were illegal, it would be controlled by the same devils, and hence would be just as brutal and detestable.

Therefore, it is bad not because it is child pornography, but because it is illegal pornography.

The only way to correct this problem is to legalise child porngraphy, which is highly undesirable, or to be exceedingly strict and severe by, say, giving a man two hundred years in prison for possessing images, which I totally agree with.

In my opinion, the latter option is the best one for all sorts of pornography.

For me, people are people, regardless of race, ethnicity, or age. To say that child pornography is worse than any other kind of pornography seems ageist to me, in the same way that we would regard as racist one who asserts that Negroid pornography is inherently more detestable ("detestable" in the sense previously used) than Caucasoid pornography by reason of race and not by reason of the actual amount of exploitation involved therein.

A black adult and a white adult are equally aware of what is going on when doing a pornography shoot. A young child is NOT.

Would you honestly claim that a 12 year old girl or boy is capable of fully understanding a situation like sex or porn, or understanding it as well as an adult?

you can call people "ageist" if you want, but no one in the world actually believes children should have the same rights (such as the right to use their body sexually however they want) as a full grown adult.

Unless you are pushing for toddler voting rights dont' pretend you are any different.
