Post Are there really two Deities?

Again, supposing the Christian God exists, why is there only one of him?

Most all animal life are divided into two genders. Adam was supposedly created in God's image. If God is alone in his Godness (if that makes sense) why wasn't Adam hermaphroditic? What would be the necessity of Eve? Why are almost all animals of two genders?

On the other hand, if Adam and Eve were both representative of God(s) where did the female version of God go?

Peace,
Janaya

Man was created male and female but with the potential to become either male or female.

Woman was never ever created but was taken from man to be the womb of man. So there is no female version of God to go anywhere but passively lie in wait for God to strike again.

To adjust this a little bit I should add that God is positive because mother earth is negative, or visa versa.

Again, supposing the Easter Bunny exists, why is there only one of her?

Most all animal life are divided into two genders. The Easter Bunny was supposedly created in Peter Rabbit's image. If Peter Rabbit is alone in his Bunnyness (if that makes sense) why wasn't The Easter Bunny hermaphroditic? What would be the necessity of The Energizer Bunny? Why are almost all animals of two genders?

On the other hand, if The Easter Bunny and the Energizer Bunny were both representative of Peter Rabbit(s) where did the male version of Peter Rabbit go?

Carrots,
galiel

P.S. And where are all the little bunnies? Those things reproduce like crazy?

Hello Amos.

So you are saying that Adam was....non-gendered?

Woman was not created?

The rest of your post appears to be gobbledygook, could you please clarify?

galiel,

You seriously crack me up. GD, I hated it when I found out the Easter bunny was mythical. I could have worshipped a god that left chocolate....chocolate!

Peace,
Janaya

Janaya,

It really depends on what version of scripture you
read.
Here is something that may help you with your question above.

"And the great angel Eleleth, understanding, spoke to me: "Within limitless realms dwells incorruptibility. Sophia, who is called Pistis, wanted to create something, alone without her consort; and her product was a celestial thing. A veil exists between the world above and the realms that are below; and shadow came into being beneath the veil; and that shadow became matter; and that shadow was projected apart. And what she had created became a product in the matter, like an aborted fetus. And it assumed a plastic form molded out of shadow, and became an arrogant beast resembling a lion. It was androgynous, as I have already said, because it was from matter that it derived.

Opening his eyes, he saw a vast quantity of matter without limit; and he became arrogant, saying, "It is I who am God, and there is none other apart from me". When he said this, he sinned against the entirety. And a voice came forth from above the realm of absolute power, saying, "You are mistaken, Samael" - which is, 'god of the blind'.

The Hypostasis of the Archons
"If you can accept a God who coexists with death camps, schizophrenia, and AIDS, yet remains all-powerful and somehow benign, then you have faith, and you have accepted the covenant with Yahweh.... If you know yourself as having an affinity with the alien or stranger God, cut off from this world, then you are a Gnostic, and perhaps the best and strongest moments still come to what is best and oldest in you, to a breath or spark that long precedes this Creation."

Hello Janaya:

I am somewhat surprised by your response because the bible is quite clear on the gender issues of God and man.

If my response was gobbledygook the whole bible must be gobbledygook to you because it states clearly that "God created man in his image; in the divine image he created him; male and female he created them."

From this you must conclude that Man is created in the image of God and that the image of man is divine just as the image of God is divine. It goes on to say that they were created male and female and not male or female. Androgyne is male and female with the potential to become either male or female. The divine image of man is the essence of man and this includes both genders but not males or females as sexual beings and therefore excludes the maleness of males and femaleness of females. Hence, there is no sex in heaven.

Notice that it does not say that God created Adam nor does it say that God created woman (if it does you should burn that bible before it burns you).

Woman was taken from man to be womb of man wherein the blueprint for the essence of man would be contained. "The man said: 'This one [at last] is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; This one shall be called woman, for out of her man this one has been taken."

Notice that woman was taken and man was created and woman was taken to serve as the blueprint for the reproduction of man in the image of God. This makes woman the Tree of Life (subconscious mind) of man while man is still the angrogyne image of God with the potential to become either male or female. This division begins to take place but not until Gen.3.

A point to remember here is that our sexuality is an illusion and therefore not created (God-given) but is the result of hormone stimulation that begins after conception, and, as you may know, conception begins after creation and creation is the handiwork of God or we would not be unique individuals in our womanity wherein is contained is the essence of God after which we are formed.

Are you satisfied from this that females are equal to males in that both are created in the image of God as is predestined (sic) by our womanity?

It gets better for you if I add that females are more woman than males (or they would be males) and therefore most often more in harmony with their own nature as man-in-the-image-of-God. Opposite woman is human and this is an illusory condition of being in which we are completely removed from our womanity (or they would not be opposites) which is why in our womanity we bleed for our humanity and so re-create the image of God in the fashion of woman, (this is confirmed with how the woman saw that the Tree of Knowledge was good for beauty, wisdom and food, and is what I meant be the words "strike again" to impregnate woman with the goodies of her choice when we dance to the song of her heart.

Admit it, Amos. You just make some of this stuff up to see if we're paying attention. This can't be representative of your thought process, can it?

Read the next post and you will see that it is very simple and should make sense to everybody.

I like the "strike again" because it gives that subtle effect of creation when positive and negative meet.

Sure.........Nag Hammadi Library..Ecclesia Gnostica
"Pistis Sophia........
The Hymn of the Pearl
Gnostic Scriptures and Fragments

"The Genesis Factor"
Dr. Stephan Hoeller
I started reading the Gnostic scriptures out of curiosity, simply because theologians dismiss them out of hand.
I figured there must be something in them that the christian community and theologians dont want you to know.
I had always considered the Judeo/Christian god to be unworthy of anyones worship.
A wrathful, vengeful, murdering, deceiver of mankind and not at all the god of love christians are always hawking.
I was somewhat surprised that these works had
a corresponding view.
