Do love potions work?
Do love potions work? Or other ways to capture someone's heart? Not that I would use one, as I'm pretty much happy with my long time Girlfriend.

Depends. Does the potion profess to knock the subject out?

Funny you should ask that Great Dalmuti. Because, yes...some of them do work.
Recent developments in Swiss sex research have come up with a genuine potion which has been successfully tested on ferrets. It contains the secret ingredient Bio-lust and is guaranteed to turn the chosen victim into a demented love-addict.Just send $49.95 to: Love Potions Inc. C/o Les Benton Suite 6A Scam Towers Uganda |

Studies have shown that once in love, a person will be affected by a love potion given that it is in proper doses and is not acted upon by external forces such as the presence of nitrogen, carbon, reality, God, thetacarbonmonosulphateglutamase-VII or the white of an egg.

The second is a little more open, but I would suggest "be the person who your partner loves". Oh I suppose someone could argue the influence of pheremones in perfumes if they wanted ... [ June 17, 2002: Message edited by: echidna ]</p> |

Jekyll and I have this little love potion: it's called "eating an oyster" and comes in many forms. Usually we just go out to a restaurant and order steamed oysters (or mussels, depending on where we are). Then we take turns opening the shells and playing with the meat of the shellfish - if you've seen an oyster or a mussel, you'll know exactly why and how we play with the poor thing .
Usually this works quite well - by the end of the meal we can't wait to get home! |
