That's a bitch for us... but at least i don't have to worship you. Obviously if the evils of the world exist, and they are just a figment of your imagination turned reality, you must be evil as well.
Hey, wait... that sounds familiar... [ April 21, 2002: Message edited by: Indifference ]
|

Perhaps this thread should be moved to Miscellaneous Humorous Discussions.
Why does the universe require a cause? |

Don't rain on my parade please. I'm sorry you thought my idea for the beginning of the universe was humorous but I hold it very near and dear to my heart. I hope you feel good about yourself.
BTW I said "assuming" the universe needs a cause. Seriously though, if it bothers you that much that this discussion is misplaced, i'll be more careful next time. But if you think about it, it is a misc religion discussion. [ April 21, 2002: Message edited by: Indifference ]
|

It seems to me that Christians have a HUGE problem with the idea that we might be the result of some great accident, i.e. the Big Bang theory or whatever. I wonder if this is because of Christian arrogance - that we as humans are somehow so important that a God must have purposefully created us.
