The 144,000 are Jewish males. 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes. If you read more of Revelation, this question would have been answered.

How many Jewish males can isolate their ancestry to a specific tribe? How many of those are virgins? Is this another miracle?

He was celibate wasn't He?

The belief is He experienced every tempation known to mankind yet resisted them all.

So what would be the point?

He obviously never met some of the temptations I've run into in my life...ooh lah lah! If he did, and resisted them, then he must have been gay.
