Oh, dear Ghod.
DO NOT CLICK ON THAT LINK!!! Cut and paste the address to your browser if you really feel compelled to visit the site. Those guys keep track of site referrals and their MLM members spam the crap out of any site that has a lot of referrers. At board I moderate on, it took almost a year (and some sneaky stuff) to make them go away. I would encourage either you, Michael or the site moderators/administrators to edit out that link and post a synopsis of the site unless you want to be spammed so often it will seem like you're living forever. |

I'm not sure I understand what the problem is, but I've disabled the link.

Thanks, Pantera.
Michael, basically, what they do is keep track of where visitors to their site come from. They can do this if you click on an imbedded link instead of putting the address directly in your browser. And when they notice that they get a lot of visits from infidels (or wherever), they have a message board where they publish that information. They also have a program where people can earn free stuff from the site in exchange for more referrals. So what happens is that a bunch of the people in their "stuff for referrals" program will come over here and publish the same link, but with their referral numbers attached. And then they do it again. And again. And again. And pretty soon, the only thing the moderators will be doing is clearing out spam. There's no way you could have known this, of course. I only learned it the hard way. The site I work for actually featured the Chiu site (ugh, it still hurts to type his name) as a weird site. Once enough of our members took our advice and clicked to visit Chiu (ugh again), the deluge began. |
