Vatican's twisted knickers
I don't see why the Vatican (inventors of the fiction ="The Roman Catholic Church") and other "Christian" groups are getting their knickers in a twist about (alleged) human reproductive cloning? After all, it is "Roman Catholicism" which has perpetuated the early human MYTHS of "gods"s impregnating human females to produce divine male saviours and other supermen.
Before the Pope starts a big fat razzledazzle against human cloning (whether it's already been accomplished or not), he'd better bloody get on the stick and admit that that damnfool dogma of the Virgin Birth of Their Lord is a LIE. To begin w/, as I keep reiterating, any kid born of an unimpregnated human mother, without a human male father's intervention, would have to be a FEMALE (clone of its Mother) because 's NO WAY it could have the MALE Y chromosome necessary to make it a (= defective) human male. Mary of Nazareth's alleged kid HAD a human MALE Father, if the kid was a MALE; or else, if it did not ever HAVE a HUMAN MALE Father, it = Jesus of nazareth, has to have been a FEMALE, like her Mother. Answer this, Joe Ratsinger. |

Re: Vatican's twisted knickers
Given my years of Catholic school brainwashing (yes, I'm over it), and years of debating theists, I'll bet I can predict the most popular theist answers for these excellent questions:

(Yeah, I know, there's the doctor/medicine thing, but somehow that's "different". :banghead: ) Additionally, there's a soul-related issue in there. (If God doesn't create the kid, does it still have a God-given soul? etc.) Quote:

Actually, I've always wondered how Christians rationalized the fact that Jesus [assuming he existed, which is rather unlikely, in my opinion] was a male.
Did God inject some divine sperm into Mary's womb? Cheers, Michael |
