I would hope the Administrators would have the decency to remove at least the home address and phone number.

Plenty of my Christian friends have received threats and calls as well. And none of them hvae initiated any calls.

I am not sure how I feel about the posting of personal information such as home phone numbers, etc. On a different subject, though, in light of what Steve Carr posted, do you agree that Holding/Turkel is dishonest?

Just for the record, my website has given rise to 2 (two) nasty emails from Christians because I am pro evolution (saying I am a heretic of sorts), and at least 5 (five) atheists who have called me a sheep, stupid or irrational (which is the atheist for heretic). The Christians left email addresses, the atheists did not.

No death threats at all, though.

IMO, it was unnecessary and unwise for Turkel's address and phone number to be published on the internet. To point out that there was other means to find out his particulars -- given that the inmates already knew his real name -- is enough to put the lie to Turkel's rationale for a psuedonym. Holding/Turkel is not someone with a lot of credibility.

But as Bede reminds us, the worst atheists do is to call Christians irrational and stupid. This isn't a major issue.

I didn't put the number up, someone else did. The phone company put it in the phone book, a public document. If Turkel doesn't want his name publicly known, he shouldn't have publicly revealed it.

WinAce's quotes of Holding making ad hominems are an absolute utter joke compared to some of the things I have seen written in these forums by Atheists about Christians.

Do I need to do a little searching through the archives and quote a little of the choice language you loving and tolerant atheists use?

I think my personal highlight was the time when I was told that I should be "put in a mental institution". Though fortunately I have always managed to avoid the worst of the... love and tolerance... you atheists are so good at showing.
