Oops...I am an atheist girl who took a liking on a religious jew...and then when I asked him he said interfaith relationship was not possible...

Should I jam atheism down his throat?

Honestly, I think you should find a new boyfriend. Don't try to "force" anything. That never works.

My attitude is this: two can play that game. A religious Jew wouldn't allow me to eat milk with meat in his house, right? OK, so I won't let him praise God in my house. Tit for tat. A rabbi would require that I put a yarmulke (skullcap) on my head when I pay a visit to his house? OK, on condition that he takes off the yarmulke when he comes to mine. Symmetry must be!

Of course, I'm willing to compromise in times of need. I wouldn't reject a religious girl who took a liking to me... </strong>
I see your point. I don't disapprove of your idea, I just don't agree with it. I know too many theists who do not ram religion down my throat, or even try to. My girlfriend included. I still think a compromise can be found.

Of course, then I visit some of the christian forums, and I get really ticked off. Sometimes its like iceskating uphill.
