You are one of a kind there, Amos.

The Book of Revelation... wow, I've never had a more odd read.

*cough cough* Shall we get back on topic here, or are we going to let this thread go to hell?

Should I elaborate?

Talking 2 things

In my earlier post, I did not mean for EM to be confrontational. Just "What evidence is there for God? Specifically, for Yahweh." Since there is none, that question would get no answer but "you need faith". It also might get a "the Bible says so" at which point he could point out a contradiction or two and say the Bible seems unremarkable and it doesn't makes sense to believe it. That's the end of that. If that angers the pastor/preacher guy to the point where he ends to discussion...Wow. There's no hope for EM if his girlfriend follows this guy.

2nd thing could you guys please take it to a different topic or PMs? I'm no moderator but it's blatantly off-topic.

No. This conversation is derailing the toipic. Feel free to start another thread about your interpretation of Revelation.

I wasn't initially going to bring up Biblical contradicitons in our future discussion, but now it sounds like a good idea.

With that said, what are your top three favorite contradictions? They don't even have to be one liners. Maybe throw in the "resurrection"?

I won't, but to address the root cause of Evil Milkman's problem is much more on topic than to say that there is no God and that he should try to convince his minister of that! The fact is that they are engulved in the flames of hell and does that in itself not prove the existence of what we call God that is needed to make heaven and hell known?

If you want to "minister" to Evil Milkman you can do that on the Secular Support thread where 'we' are not allowed to voice our opinion (and I respect that fully). Over here, on the other hand, the truth is be allowed to be defended.

Um, how about "no" - preaching is NOT allowed in this forum. If you'd like to start a thread about Evil Milkman's immortal soul, please do so in ~~Elsewhere~~.

Please, let's try to get this thread back on-topic. Any off-topic posts will be moved from this thread and placed where they belong.
