Post Noah's Ark existed...

I believe the biblical account of Noahs ark to be accurate if not entirely historically correct. I have read through some other debates on this and i feel that it would be inappropriate for me to just jump in, so i have started this new thread. Why is the Ark so hard to believe?

What do you mean? The egyptians and the chinese were destroyed by the flood to pay for their sins.

I'm not sure. But not knowing your birthday wouldn't mean it never happened.

Why should anyone give a damn what you believe?

Frivolous, the problem is that the most commonly preached and accepted dating of the flood places it smack in the middle of recorded egytpian and chinese histories. And those histories don't stop or have a gap where everyone died or anything like that.

Because that little thing called "evidence" shows that (gasp) there wasn't a worldwide flood several thousand years ago. I'm sorry, but I can't just accept something as truth without first looking at it with a scientific approach.

The word of God is evidence enough. The egyptian and chinese accounts of history were obviously wrong and so that is why they were punished in such a way. God was obviously setting an example.
