Lightbulb Challenge to "Out of Africa" Theory

This link discusses a challenge to the commonly held belief that modern man descended from a small group which left Africa in our ancient history.

I think the fact that there IS a controversy about this shows the fundamental strength of science and research: a theory or supposition is valid only until better evidence or research disproves all or part of it. We don't cling hopelessly to dubious claims and try to bend the facts to match such claims.

And then this post mentions that Mungo Man is actually 20,000 years younger than previously thought...
