Post Saturn and Neptune debunk the YECs

Okay the article is not about the YECs, but it has a big implications for them:

You are correct in the sense that there is another arrow in the quiver that can be used to burst the creto's ballon. I don't think that it can penetrate the hard core "gawdditit" mentality.

After all, Adam had a bellybutton!

Agree with the good doctor.

In itself it is an rather interesting bit of information.

But there's already so much evidence that points to an old Earth and is ignored that no amount of new evidence will ever be sufficent to crack the veil of ignorance worn by young-Earthers.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't convince him that fish are good to eat.

Excellent article and it is all too true that creationists will happily ignore it. Why? Very simple. They really don't care. They have a simple explanation that neatly covers all possible scenarios. God decided that it would be neat to have Saturn do a tilt trick and made it so, discussion closed.

I dunno. Maybe fish aren't all that great for a horse's digestion and he knows it. Certainly any solid evidence for an ancient Solar System would disagree violently with a YEC's bowels. So, both ignore that which they find hazardous to their world's outlook. The only diffrence is that the horse doesn't want everybody to give up baked grouper fillets.

Me too, but I was pretty drunk at the time. I don't remember much of it.

Saturn's a lovely planet to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. All that tilting is hard on the inner ear, don'tcha know?

Exclamation

Tell your YEC friends "I'm tired of you denying Darwin, now you're gonna have to deny Newton."
