Default What Eve said

Found this in my handwritten files from the past.

Chorus of Angels ---
"Thus Eve cast down the gauntlet in God's face:
" My will for thine man's purpose against God's
Slay me and slay the man
Slay all my seed
But let man's knowledge and man's work go on".

I thinjk it is from a play by Dorothy Sayers.

Hm.

Maybe that's the chief difference between atheists and theists- we would find the taste of the tree of knowledge sweet enough to face the wrath it cost.

I think that this should be in GRD, Hinduwoman. Do you have a particular point in putting it here?

Odd. I replied to this last night, and it's not here now.

Ah, I see. I think someone else moved it while I was replying. No problem, then.
