What would you say to god if.......
.....you died and awoke in front of him? Would you fall to your knees or stand defiantly and tell him what a jerk he has been for the last 2000 years?

I don't think I'd have a helluva lot to say to Queztlcoatl.
Hang on, did you mean that Yahweh hombre? I would ask him why he took out so much of His Holy Displeasure out on goats in the OT. I would also ask if he was a closet homosexual, and if the whole leviticus thing was just a cover for his personal insecurity about this issue. |

I'd listen to what he had to say. He might not be the god the Jews, Christians, or Muslims worship. Maybe I'd get a reward for using the brain he gave me. Or maybe he'd be pissed because I didn't sacrifice animals and people to him. The possibilities would be infinite.

Well, first we'd have a little question-and-answer period where I'd find out whether it's that Judeo-Christo-Muslim deity. If so, I'd ask how much of what I've heard about this god is true. If not, which of the many world religions were the closest to determining its nature correctly.
The answers to those and other burning questions would determine my response to being faced with such a critter. |

It would really depend on which god I awoke in front of.
If a Greek god (which would be my personal choice, if it had to be a god at all), I'd ask if some of the more unbelievable legends were true. If a goddess, I would ask if the Neopagan religions are close at all. If OT Yahweh, I would hopefully have the courage to laugh before he sent me to Hell. (No repentant sinner here ). If God/Jesus as described in the NT, I would ask why he hasn't showed himself in the last 2000 years, and/or what September 11th meant. Maybe he really is Allah? If one of the Aztec gods, I would ask what they wanted the hearts of all the sacrifices for. If a god of the Celtic or Norse pantheon, I would have to admit that I didn't know their myths that well, and so I would have no idea what would happen. Of course, this is assuming that I didn't manage to convince myself that I was dreaming/hallucinating, since I think there is just oblivion after death, and have no expectation whatsoever of something like that happening. -Perchance. |

Lets say he is the Xian god of the Holy Bible.
Here is my take, Me: "Wow, that was a wild ride, where am I?" God: "Silence you infidel! You are about to be judged." Me: "By who? You? HA HA HA HA HA!!!" God: "You dare mock me?" Me: "Look pal, you obviously are a psychopath and a liar. I will not be silent, kneel, or bow to you or any other evil god. Where is the exit, I have some friends to vist." God: "Silence you Infidel! Did I not give you a chance to have faith in me? You knew about my holy book and still threw me out!" Me: "You need to see a counselor goddie. And your breath smells!" "Now how to I get back to earth, I have some friends I want to freak out." God: "You disrespectful Infidel!" |

You know, its pretty easy to say this kind of stuff on a msg board and act all though, but if it really happened I really doubt that you would have that kind of attitude. More then likely you would beg for mercy. Of course I'm an ahteist so I dont think any of this is true. |

I would ask, "Can a guy get a cup of coffee around here?"
