Dr. Rick likes to cut and paste his own posts apparently.

We've shown the fallacy of your mantra Dr. Rick I think. It remains the gratuitous assertion it always was, backed up by nothing- no quotes, no examples, no sensible alternate solutions- nothing but your self-vested authority.

Meanwhile billions will be saved and reconciled to God through a few hours of suffering by Jesus. And even if God was inconsistent, if it all comes true, nobody will be bitching but you and your choir. Will they?

Rad, a Jewish guy named Jebus didn't suffer and die for me (or you) 2,000 years ago. It's a fucking myth! Why don't you understand? Why have you allowed your mind to be enslaved by superstition? Don't you see how pathetic and sad it all is?

It's not just an inconsistency, but a logical contradiction, and so cannot be true. It's logically impossible for the omnimax god to have to sacrifice anyone or to have to lose anyone.

An omnipotent, omniscient, and omnibenevolent god would
want to offer salvation without sacrificing or losing anyone, know how to give salvation without sacrificing or losing anyone, and be able to provide salvation without sacrificing anyone or losing anyone.

Your position has been refuted because it is illogical and contradictory; logic does not require quotes, examples, and alternatives. It does require reasoning, and you have not provided any. Making unsubstantiated and contradictory assertions about the necessity of Jesus dying so that an omnimax god could save humans mixed with ad hominem arguments as you have done is not rational or convincing.

Radorth...I'm still waiting for you to address my questions.

In order please, and don't dodge the question - please answer them as they are asked (i.e. I will count wandering off on a tangent and NOT actually answering the question as a 'dodge'). Please note, redefining terms (like 'justice' to 'God-justice') has already been addressed in my list of questions - and if you wish to redefine terms, you will need to show how those terms can possibly have any meaning FOR US after that redefinition.

Anyone care to put bets on how many 'dodges' I will get?

Cheers,

The San Diego Atheist

Exclamation Hey!

Radorth,
You need to explain this:
Quote:
We invented our own rules and pet philosophies because we thought God was hiding something from us and we wanted to be "free." Unfortunately said rules and pet philosophies all turned out to be self-destructive. Not only that, we have to work 40 hours and wear clothes on hot days. What a mess.
1.)What rules? What philosophies? Where in the bible does it say anything about Jesus paying for Gods dislike of our rules and philosophies?

2.)Where in the bible does it say that we wouldn`t have to work or wear any clothes if we behaved ourselves in the manner that you believe God wants us to behave?
(laying around naked all day and not having to work sounds quite a bit like the biblical Garden of Eden. I thought you said this part of the bible was just a fable and not to be taken literally?)

These questions are NEVER going to go away. They will follow you around this board until one of us either dies or you decide to pack it up and go elsewhere.

Surprise surprise, more evasive action from Radorth. Keep it up, you know that sensible people won't bother with you indefinitely, whereas you can keep on dancing forever by the power of Jesus. Us atheists are doomed! Doomed I tell you!

I wonder if Saddam learned how to dodge the weapons inspectors from Radorth.

No, just one of Saddam's chief mentors, especially when it comes to feigning a mental illness and 'forgetting' pertinent things, such as where the nukes are.

Hey, that reminds me of the song: "Where the nukes are, where the nukes are..."
