Non-abrahamic miracles with many alleged witnesses?
Over on the thread http://www.iidb.org/vbb/showthread.p...threadid=47753 Magus 55 used the worn out argument that we know Jebus rose from the dead because 500 people saw it happen. I was interested in any stories of non-abrahamic miracles with a similar or larger number of witnesses. I am especially interested in the really big miracles like people rising from the grave.

Im not sure if you would classify this as a big miracle but it happened fairly recently(1995),Hindu statues in several countries drank milk. |

You can research on Falun Gong, a recent cult in China that lead thousands of believers martyred. I think there are more than a thousand witnesses of their leader (Li Hong-Zi) performing miracles, and for this reason many believers are willing to risk being persecuted by the Chinese government.
