Question online audio lectures

Anyone know of any sites with online audio lectures on mythology, comparitive religion, gnosis etc...?

I found <a href="http://www.webcom.com/~gnosis/lectures.html" target="_blank">this site</a> yesterday and so far I`ve enjoyed the lectures on Joseph Campbell,Jung,Gnostic initiations,Hermes and christ.
Dr. Hoeller seems to be a very well read and rather entertaining fellow and he certainly is no fan of the worlds major religions.
His accent makes listening to him rather tough at times, but I`m pretty sure I heard him refer to Islam,Judaism and Christianity as "despicable balderdash". LOL

<a href="http://www.teach12.com" target="_blank">The Teaching Company</a>

For comparitive religion, try the teaching company. They develop thier own college level courses in a variety of subject areas by professors renowned in their respective fields.

I have done:
New Testament and The Historical Jesus by Bart Ehrman of UNC Chapel Hill, both excellent courses having 24 lectures each at 30 minutes. The package of the two totalled around a hundred dollars(Thier shipping/handing is kind of high, so don't go by the cover price.)

American Religious History, a 24 lecture course led by Patrick Allitt of Emory University. A facsinating view of the subject(for us nerds that have an interest in this stuff)

Old Testament, by Amy-Jill Levine of Vanderbilt. same length, but has gone a little slower for me. Not my favorite subject matter, haven't finished it yet. good nonetheless.

Great Ideas of Philosophy, a huge fifty lecture course that was really my "101" intro to the subject. I need to go through it again to pick up some more and I wish I had taken it in 'real college'

History of Freedom, J Rufus Fears of U Oklahoma. 36 lectures with such titles as, "From Machiavelli to the divine rights of kings" and "Jesus and Socrates" Good Course.

I am also now in the five part, 50 lecture, "Worlds Great Religions" which gives 10 lectures to each of Christianity, Islam, Judiasm, China's Faiths, and India's. Each area is a different professor with talent in that field.

I guess being a college graduate, that I would call these courses at the 300/400 upperclassmen level of study, but just auditing the course, since you have no tests or exams! They are all really very good, they even have math, physics, calculus, music appreciation, etc. etc.

One thing to note, you need to wait for their 'sales' to make purchases. The shelf price on all the courses is wildly overpriced, but their are sales on each title at least once a year. The discount will be like 65% off with the sale price. I guess they are controlling sales and demand that way.

I would use the paper catalog over their website. Easier to follow.

shop for these on Ebay once in a while too. Many teaching company courses are there, but the time I looked there were no religion courses being sold.

Just search "teaching company"
