Magus55,

So people who go to heaven lose their free will? There is no evil in heaven, so since you think free will necessitates evil, there must be no free will in heaven. So is the reward for obeying your god being turned into a robot.

Quote:
Killing people in the name of justice and righteousness, and commanding armies to kill enemies who disobey God is quite different from telling your followers to fly planes into buildings and kill as many people as possible to gain more sex slaves in heaven.
Good thing they killed those women and children in the name of justice and righteousness, otherwise it might have been wrong!

Deuteronomy 20:16 But of the cities of these people, which the lord thy god has giveth thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth: but thou shalt utterly destroy them

Joshua 6:21 And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, both young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of a sword.

Samuel 15:3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

Hosea 13:16 Samaria shall bear her guilt; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword; their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.

Of course you are just going to give me your predictable bullshit about how they were all sinners and deserved it. But think about it, from Osamas point of view we are all sinners and deserve it. So why do you think they were justified, but Osama is not?

One might well ask Magus: How can you ignore a question when it is repeatedly put to you?
Magus won't answer my questions seriously. Can it be because I'm not god?

results after prayers depend on , what do we expect of prayers .

what kind of "RESULTS" are you expecting after your prayers ??

do you pray for money ,good job , or what do you pray for?

when I pray , I ask for forgivness , I ask for spiritual joy , and I always get the result I was expecting .

blessings

Of course, because you convince yourself that the prayer worked.

They did follow God's commandment to kill the infidels.

God does not run around fixing every humans stupid mistakes. Yes, innocents suffer at the hands of others - such is the destruction of sin.
But God protected that one couple in the car accident and gave them a new car, not just a '97 but a 2000.

Fortunately, God will restore the world to order and will avenge those who lost their lives needlessly. [/B]
Promisses, promisses.

They are killing the unrighteous disobedient people of the world just as god ordered in the old testiment.

Magus, have I asked you about my hypothetical on the 9/11 thing?

/Start Hypothetical/

A God like entity appears before you. You have no doubts about that. He speaks to you from a burning bush and communicates to your heart in a way that leaves no doubt he is a God like entity.

You have questions for him. "Are you the Christian God TM?" He answers with authority: "I am the Lord thy God, who created the rivers and the mountains, the heavens and the earth, the sun and the moon and the stars."

"Oh!" You say.

You ask him to do some tricks for you. "How about you incinerate my wife and turn her into a pile of salt." God graciously complies.

"Wow!" You say.

Now God tells you what he's here for. "Magus," he's says. "I've noticed you are one righteous dude, and I've decided that you and you alone can lead the world in My plan. Because of your faith, I'm granting to you the promised land I never gave to the Jews. I'm granting that to you and your seed. If you'll cut off your ear, (I don't like ears now. Used to be penises, but now it's ears) and abide by my commandments, I will lead you with my divine spirit to claim your prize.

There are evil sinful people in the world Magus. The Muslims. They're the pits. They're off whoremongering and worshipping other gods. They are on your land and in your cities Magus. You've got to do God's work and wipe out these evil people. I want you to get ready Magus. I want you to get flight training and learn all about airport security, weapons, and bombs. Then I want you to fly a 747 into Mecca during next year's Hajj."

"That's my plan Magus. You may not think you're capable, but I have forseen the future, and you will do it with my divine help." Now all I need for you to do is to praise me, cut off your ear, and agree to do it." "What say you Magus?"

/end Hypothetical/

Now I have a couple of questions. How would you know whether this was the Christian God, some other God, or Satan? How would you determine the morality of his request, and how would you dare to? Would you do it?

Its funny how Magus has time to spam religious crap in other threads, but doesn't seem to have the time to answer serious questions here.

Default relationship

Humans can have relation with many things. Other humans. Pets.
However, they can not have relations with an imaginary being.
There can not be a relationship with jesus. You can imagine jesus
but you can not have a relationship with him.You can imagine god .However, that is not a relationship.
