I've finally come out
I finally came out to my parents about my atheism, and they reacted better than I imagined. Of course, I heard some of the usual arguments, how the world is so complex, etc.
Whats weird about it though, is I feel great and like shit at the same time. They didn't say anything, in fact, they are supportive(as in they are proud of me for questioning my faith) of my decision. But, my dad is a physics minor and my mom is a nurse and its fathers day. I feel like fecies on a hot day, telling them that they don't know science well enough and they are wrong. However, I don't have to go to mass anymore, and they will let me tell my relatives, if I feel I want to. The day is going great. I think I'll go take a shower now. |

Congratulations! I wish I had to guts to do that. Now's not the time for me, though.
