I thought it was a very beautiful song. One that put the Christian God in a different perspective. I would just like to add one more if -- What if God isn't a white man, would you still fall down on your knees and worship him?

1.) Bishop Tutu of South Africa got into a lot of troubles when he started displaying a black Christ on crucifix.

2.) Mary was semitic, but all apparitions point to a blonde, blue eye lady.

A tinge of racism? That is what I feel Christianity is all about. Has there ever been a pope who is not white?

Yes. In the context of of the 'apartheid' regime at the time.

But you're completely right most artistic representations of the holy family are positively 'aryan'.

For your information, the Jesus of the 21 century as selected by Rome is black.

The apparitions of Mary are always local and present the image of mortal beauty and perfection. Of course, there can not be a Jewish apparition of Mary because she is the bride of the Catholic church (you're silly,' roflol).
