Exclamation

"Do you agree with...?"

Shit, that's what that crap was! I went to SUNY Stonybrook once in high school for a field trip, and there were all these signs saying "Do you agree with John Dean?" Or something. I couldn't figure it out. It was chalked on the sidewalks, blackboards had "DYAWJD?" on them, and I even saw a few simple, cheeky, "JD?" marks here and there. Couldn't figure it out.

BTW, I'll be going with Mohommed Atta.

Did you guys know you can make more than one name entry? All you have to do is enter a name, then press the back button and do it again! I was having a ball earlier. Selected names:

Angus Thermopyle
Paul Atredies
(I can't remember, btu I put the names of the leaders of the ACLU and Planned Parenthood up there)
God (Doesn't agree)
L Ron Hubbard (Buy my book)
Heber Jentzsch YOU TALK ABOUT MY MOTHER
Bart Simpson
Vladmir Harkonnen
Morn Hyland
Nick Succorso
Tercel (Doesn't agree)
"Dr." Kent Hovind (doesn't agree)
Mr. mister

Etc. Only downside is, they managed to remove all of them. The obvious ones like LRH and Bart simpson and God went first, but later, the more esoteric ones left. Either they can tell when a lot of names come form one IP, or these guys have read Dune and the Gap Cycle... a prospect I highly doubt.

Funny thing is, Hovind's name stayed up there a LONG time...

Wow! If you look at the name submission forum, they tell you to go to the message board now instead of saying so on the list! I guess seeing that Jesus and God and Buddah and St. Paul the Evangelist don't agree with them was too much!

BTW, any fans of the MST3K episode 820- SPACE MUTINY might want to look at soem of the new names...

Edited to add: go to the "Who agrees with John?" list to see this! GO NOW!

Edited to add AGIN: Aw shit they already caught on! Or maybe there's just a limited amount of allowed names?

Yep, they're cleaning up a bit. 'Twill be a good test for them, though

I added Robert Ingersoll (to Jon's list) and Eric Bana (to Chad's) but they won't allow you to add more than one name in a session, and Ingersoll seemed to disappear straight away. Check again later.

Well, it seems that Chad and Jon have caught on to some of the more obvious "joke" names, but they did miss a couple.

"Anita Beaver" is still on both lists.

"Farrel Till" (!) and Pope John Paul II are on Jon's.
