We have several creationists who appear from time to time. But they don't stay long, creationism being indefensible.

If you feel overwhelmed, pick one of the people here and engage them in one-on-one discourse. We'll create a thread here just for you and your chosen, and a parallel thread for comments from the other hairless apes who hang out here. That way you don't have to feel like everyone is ganging up on you. I can well understand that feeling; answering all those questions can be overwhelming.

I'm not a creationist, but the ones I've seen here so far are: Douglas Bender, foursquareman, Feistycreationchick, luvluv, Ed, Tricia, Mightily_Oats, and Randman. I don't post here as often as the other regulars though, so they probably know some more.

Who here is a creationist with a coherent understanding of the basics of evolutionary theory?

Anyone?

No?

Well, I can’t say I’m suprised.

HelenSL, also. Of course, "Reverend Joshua" and "David Mathews" claim to be "Christian", but they deny so much of the Bible (particularly calling "evil" good, etcetera), that they obviously do not qualify.

In Christ,

Douglas

Philosoft,

My bad. HelenSL is a Creationist, but I don't think that RJ or DM happen to be (if they are, it's quite likely they are "theistic evolutionists", which might not count).

In Christ,

Douglas

Philosoft: "Who said anything about Christians?"

No one, but in Douglas's fevered imagination, if one does not believe in his reading of the Bible (including a more or less literal reading of the Hebrew creation myth), one cannot be a True Christian.

Besides, who other than Christians are running around and making a stink about evolutionary theory?
