Question The Problem with the American Media Today

I'm making a little essay for my Christianity website, and I thought it was humorous enough and complete enough for the IIDB.

http://ashitaka.home.attbi.com/christianity/terebi.html
Read and enjoy.

The two things I'm looking for comments on are:
- Is the point made well enough? I don't want any blandness. Trying to follow a Biblical example here.
- Are there any critiques about my sources? I would like my essay to be good enough for all Christians to appreciate. Have I interpreted any passages incorrectly?

So far, so good. Although, this point:
Quote:
This is a Christian nation, my fellow Americans; read your Bibles.
... is NOT true!

I am not sure what point you are trying to make. Ok, so the bible records acts of war etc. So what? Its a history book as well as a theology book.

May be you should have included Leviticus as well:

- Adulterers must be put to death
- Homosexuals must be put to death

So since the bible is clearly a "hate" book, why does not the US ban it altogether and make it a criminal offence to own a bible?

:notworthy :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy

Good starting points for thoughtful conversation .....

... I Most enjoyed the Song Of Solomon passages

I am not sure what your position is in terms of the morals of the bible ..... However not being sure of who your intended auidiance (as opposed to audience...) is or what context it is to be presented, they may not easily accept the message or react in a favorable (open discourse) manner.

Yet I have to give it Two thumbs up and a z-snap

(edited because I can't spell)

perhaps you might try reacting with a little less sense of persecution ....
If you notice where ASHIBAKA listed
Location: Di Gi Charat planet even If I have no idea what it means

... or do you hold that the U.S. along with posting the 10 commandments in Court should incorporate the two items you listed .....

(Question do you use a step ladder to get on that high horse)

My essay was intended to be in the style of all of the loons at the AFA and similar organizations who protest all of the sex and violence in American culture. Maybe I should make that more obvious?

Thus:

Quote:
So far, so good. Although, this point:

quote: This is a Christian nation, my fellow Americans; read your Bibles.

... is NOT true!
True, but you know more than half of the ChristianForums regulars believe that, and I'm trying to imitate their beliefs as closely as possible. =P

Those would go on a separate page.

Here's a picture of it which I just took.
