Default So does the bible say the universe is flat?

Info from GMAP seems to confirm the universe is flat. So now, let us rush to Psalms to prove how the bible already knew it.

It would not matter if the Bible did say the "universe" was flat, the cosmologists are not using the term in the same way the word is used in ordinary everyday life. Thus to make the connection would be an equivocation fallacy.

Of course I don't think think the Bible does say the universe is flat. And the ancient jews did not think the universe was flat. Their cosmology had a dome over a flat Earth which does not sound very flat to me.

It wouldn't surprise me, since the bible also has inflation in it. In 20 years from now, Christians will be insisting string theory was the good book all along.
