Talking Spam -- Ad for Immortality

Yesterday I received one of the strangest spams yet:

Quote:
The most important discovery in the history of mankind!
Date: Tue, 15 Jan 2002 19:47:47 +-0800
From: immortality@post.com
To:

What we longed for and had a presentiment about - has happened. A doctor from Russia
has discovered the secret of the "Elixir of youth". Whether the pharmacological companies
want it or not, mankind is faced with the fact - the secret of death is opened. Now everyone
can fight with the illnesses by himself, - winning and prolonging the life, - not growing old!
Tell your friends and relatives. The whole world should know about it.

Hurry up, till we are not closed by the Government!
The great ones of this world never share. The Governments do not need the problems of the
overpopulation and the threat of famine because of the prolongation of human life.
We have already had a serious financial offer, to freeze our publications... It will be a surprise
for some of you that we share the discovery with the whole mankind.
We think, that nobody has the right to decide, whether mankind is worthy of this discovery or not.
Each man should make the choice by himself!

Details here: <a href="http://gonow.to/long-life" target="_blank">http://gonow.to/long-life</a> OR <a href="http://long-life.da.ru" target="_blank">http://long-life.da.ru</a>
Read more about how hydrogen can bring immortal life <a href="http://www.h-longevity.net/eng/titul.shtml" target="_blank">here</a>

Does anyone know anything more about these guys? I mean, who do they think they are, and worse, who the hell falls for this?

Well unless this elixir provides immunity to starving, i'd say this is everybody's problem

Smile

I can't ask without sounding rude, but how often do people actually read their spam ?

No wonder I'm running out of porn, viagra and university degrees.
