You are seriously confused dk, sexual orientation has nothing to do with cultural values.

Is this a dogmatic statement... please continue...

Is sexual orientation a cultural value? Why or why not.

Is sodomy a cultural value?

The serious issue is
What distinguishes a cultural value from a personal value?
When does a cultural value supersede personal value as a basis Constitutional Law?

I would point out that the Supreme Court upheld sodomy laws (Bowers v. Hardwick) as constitutional, but struck down laws about sexual oreintation (Romer v. Evans) as unconstitutional. Does this mean its lawful to be an anti-sodomite, but unlawful to be anti-gay culture?
