Thanks RJ. I was gonna start a topic on this.

So, do you see this, and the closing of the futures price on Tues ($911.00) as:

- A sign from God that he is on our side?

- A sign from Allah that he's laughing about 9/11?

Please show all work.

The winners of the lottery would probably say Sign from God.

Why are God and coincidence the only two options? What about Loki? This seems like his kind of joke.

"It just proves the market God was with us, remembering the day, too," said one CME trader.

Apparently there is some sort of Market God too.

It seems to me a great way to see (once again) how irrational Christians and other religious folk can be about simple coincidences.

Remember how, last year, people claimed to see the Devil in the smoke clouds over NYC?

If any gods are capable and willing to modify the lottery results, why would they not spend the months prior to Sept. 11, 2001 making sure 9-1-1 came up every time in every lottery in NY so the people there would have some warning that something odd would happen then? Or is the god doing this not a god interested in doing good?

Or perhaps people dig through tons of information to find one little thing to justify their blind faith...

Would you then believe? What would it take?
