A short paper by Zhou, et al., in the 21 Nov issue of Nature identifies the front half of National Geographic's fossil composite gaffe. It's essentially identical to Yanornis martini, a fish-eating bird known from other fossils in the area. The other Yanornis fossil has chewed-up fish parts in its gut - both have teeth. The tail of Archaeoraptor was already known to be from a dromaeosaur.

Not suprising. We can't seem to put Dino bones together properly for the life of us.
