Pissing off the in-laws
Well, not technically in-laws, but...
My girlfriends sister got married last weekend in Columbus, OH, and their Mom is a whacko fundy. She was previously Catholic, but about 7 years ago was Born Again, currently attends Calvary chapel, and went to see Rob Parsley while we were in Columbus (actually, I was tempted to go, but late night partying combined with jet-lag deterred that thought). Anyway, for the Friday night family dinner, I made sure to wear a nice golf shirt sporting the evolve fish logo. Saturday, the post-reception party was at a Karaoke bar. The GF and I did "Summer Nights" from the Grease soundtrack, and I managed to get in Buffet's "Why don't we get drunk..." before they left. Lots of fun. |

Parsley is a real nutter, isn't he? I used to work with a guy who went to high school with him, and my wife's doctor is Parsley's sister-in-law.
Do you rember the names of the restaurant and bar you went to? Glad you had a good time in Columbus. My wife and I loved it so much, we're moving to Rochester NY next month.  Andy |

Dinner was at the Hunan House. Can't remember the name of the bar.
