Once again, science is more reliable than God

As an atheist, I say these people were killed simply because they stood under a tree in a thunderstorm, and we all know what a bad idea that is. I can't imagine what the theists are telling themselves to rationalize this. Maybe now they'll consider that Zeus or Thor really is the true god, and he was annoyed with this (presumably Christian) funeral and prayer? No, I guess they'll just say completely insane things like Quote:
