Thanks BH. I really lost my dad when I was a baby, this is just the final separation from him. As for my circumstances, I try to remember that even the worst things that have happened to me pale in comparison to the lives that millions of people on this planet have to live. It could be a lot worse, I think it's all in your perspective. I wish my life would have been better as a child, but then I wouldnt be who I am right now if it had been. And as I kind of like some of the stuff I'm doing right now, perhaps it's been for the best after all. After all, who knows what the future holds for any of us?

David, others, Thanks for the advice. I think I'm trying to do what you've suggested. I worry sometimes that I'm missing something obvious, but then I tell myself that I'm giving it my best shot and the guys seem to be doing well so far. I'll just have to "stay the course," let the future unfold and be there in whatever capacity that's useful if problems arise.
