Vouchers for Faith-Based Schools: My Take
Sure, it seems like a really crappy idea on the surface... but think about how many puppies will be in Dubya's litter when I apply for federal funds to run the nation's first Wiccan Marochial School! Wouldn't it that be worth the bricks coming out of the Wall right there? Wouldn't it?

Hee hee!
I used to not care about this issue so much. After all I went to a (technically) Presbyterian-affiliated college, and many of my classmates got federal financial aid. But then I found out the Lutheran school my girlfriend works at teaches creationism in science classes. My tax money is NOT going to be used to lie to the nation's children. [My gf doesn't actually work for the school, she works for an ESL academy that leases classroom space in the school.] |

Even better; we can teach the Ancient Egyptian creationism in my Wiccan Marochail School!
(Basically, the story is that the god Atum masturbated the universe into existence, from what I've been told by a jobless philosophy major. Even if it's not true, it'd still be a great puppy-inducer. |

I've HEARD (and have been to lazy to actually look it up) that there was back in the mid-70's in some Non-CA western state... don't remember what happened to it though. My feeble recollection of Facts-I-Almost-Paid-Attention-To wants me to say it was arson-ized repeatedly.
So no, probably not. |
