Some of my husband's family are JW's - he's a non believer like me - it actually turned him off any religion big time. I'd like to go to their site just to learn more. Anyone know the web address please??

I just always type in "Jehovah's Witnesses" into the Yahoo search engine and go to the site titled "Escape from the Watchtower" they have a message board and some REALLY interesting stories about people who have escaped the clutches of the JWs. I wish more JWs would go there.

Oh! I thought you meant that you had brought them away from their faith.

Yes, I know that JWs can deconvert, but I don't think this is something that you can do to those who are firm in their faith. You can only nudge someone who was teetering in the first place. If you can find them, I agree you might have some luck.

NOGO, you have a very interesting point, I'll read through that again a couple more times to get the facts and verses straight and then I will ask them. Thanks.
If you do ask them please let me know how they react.
Thanks

Have any of you read the article <a href="http://www.flindersclubs.asn.au/pagan/humour/otherpeople.html" target="_blank">We Are The Other People</a>? It's written from a Neopagan point of view, but it's still funny.

Whatever you decide to tell your JW friend be sure to do it by going to her house unannounced and knock on her door. Preferably during dinner. Have plenty of tracts of your own to share with her.
